The Beginning
A Cobbler New York Has Trusted for Three Decades
Jacob opened his shop on Maiden Lane in 1993 with one belief: a well-made shoe deserves a skilled hand to restore it. He started with a single workbench, a set of tools passed down from his mentor, and a reputation built entirely on word of mouth.
The Financial District was the right place for it. Lawyers, bankers, city workers — people who wore real leather shoes and needed them to last. Jacob became their cobbler. He still is.
We work on everything from everyday sneakers to handmade Italian dress shoes. Many of our customers have been coming back for 20 years. That kind of loyalty is earned one pair at a time.

The Shop Opens
Jacob opens his cobbler shop on Maiden Lane in the Financial District with a single workbench and a commitment to quality that New York could count on.

Three Generations of Shoes
